In this course you will learn in depth about the UK Environmental Regulations and Legislation . Your trainer Becky Toal MBA MSc BSc MIEMA CEnv has over 20 years experience of delivery on ISO management systems and is a UK based Lead Auditor with SGS and other certification bodies to various standard. We also offer tutor led training. Becky is a Chartered Environmentalist and full member of IEMA. Becky has worked with UEFA, London 2012 Olympics, Croke Park Stadium and many more on ISO standards and legal compliance. This course features a paper mill as a case study.
Course Outline
The day is split into six sessions with six workshops.
Session One: Waste Management & Legislation; Environmental regulations, documents etc. Workshop one
Session Two: Water Consumption & Regulations; UK water regulators, trade effluent license etc. Workshop two
Session Three: Packaging Regulations; extended producer responsibility, compliance schemes etc. Workshop three
Session Four: Conservation & Biodiversity; relevant legislation, regulators for biodiversity etc. Workshop four
Session Five: Environmental Permitting Regulations; requirement of permits, Environmental Monitoring KPIS etc. Workshop five
Session Six: Energy Regulations; climate change levy, energy performance certificate etc. Workshop six
